Janet Faye (Gallaway) Schmidt born on July 12, 1933 to William FL. and Mary (Newcomer) Gallaway.
Janet passed away on May 30, in Melbourne, Florida after a long-fulfilled life of 91 years.
She was a loving care taker to her family and husband William G. Dixon of 40 years he passed in 2003. They shared four children together; David J, Mitzie, William K and Cyndie.
In 2005 she married Robert P. Schmidt and lived out her days exploring Florida with Bob, Red Hat lady lunches, enjoying her daughters of the American Revolution activities, and sharing, her faith a the the First Church of Melbourne, Florida
