Martin Kuhl
August 13, 1946 — April 21, 2026
On April 21, 2026, Marty (a.k.a. Turk) age 79 went to be with the angels in Melbourne, Florida.
Born in Somerville, NJ on August 13, 1946, son of the late Gladys and Pierson Kuhl. He resided in Three Bridges, NJ and attended Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington.
Shortly after graduation, he met Linda Potterton of Califon, NJ. On June 17,1967 they were married at the Three Bridges Reformed Church and resided in Flemington, NJ for 18 years, then moved to Holland Twp, NJ. He was a Diesel Mechanic for Foley Caterpillar. Several years later, he moved up the ranks and became a Salesman, which he enjoyed immensely. His wonderful laughter and a natural ‘gift-of-gab’ maintained him for 43 years of work before he retired in 2011. In 2015, Martin & Linda retired to Melbourne, Florida. Their numerous road trips took them to many quaint towns in New Jersey, Florida, and beyond. He had a love for fishing, racing, and tending to the yard and gardens.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 59 years, three sons Todd - Frenchtown NJ, Tim - Brooklyn NY, & Travis - Bend Oregon, their partners (Tiffany, Mary, Elisa) and three granddaughters, (Samantha, Skylar, Addison) – whom he adored!
He was predeceased by his older brother, James Burns Kuhl.
A Celebration of Life is being planned in NJ this August.
