The family of Phyllis Lillian Sullivan of Palm Bay, Florida is saddened to announce her passing on April 16, 2026, at the age of 85 years.

She was born May 1, 1940 in Pennsylvania to Charles E MacDonald and Jennie MacDonald. Phyllis lived a full and vibrant life spending many years in Northville, New York before making her home in Palm Bay, Florida.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John L Sullivan Jr. on June 15, 2025.

She is lovingly survived by her children, and her cherished legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her son, Douglas ~ Robin Sullivan Granddaughter: Danielle ~ Eric Romano, Great granddaughters: Peyton & Blake. Grandson: Dougie ~ Brittany Sullivan, Great granddaughter: Lynleigh.

Her daughter, Denise (Sullivan-Johnson) ~ Chris Johnson Granddaughters: Victoria ~ Matthew Thomas & Alexandra ~ Brandon Mitchell.

Her daughter, Jennifer ~ Ronald Stone, Granddaughter: Samantha Stone ~ Cody Piccirillo, Great grandchildren: Landon, Delanie, & Holden. Granddaughter: Amanda Stone, Great grandson: Kellen. Grandson: Ronnie Stone ~ Sarah Lawson, Great grandchildren: Hazel & Weston.

Phyllis is also survived by her brother Chuck MacDonald and wife Beverly and her sister Patricia Calkins, along with many nieces and nephews and dear friends whom she treasured throughout her life.

Phyllis had a deep passion for helping and serving others. She was a talented chef and proud owner of the Alhambra Restaurant, later dedicating her career as a Dietary Manager for assisted living facilities in Melbourne Florida. She found great joy in cooking everything homemade, and her talents extended to catering, decorating, sewing and so much more! Always creating everything with love and care.

Phyllis loved her family deeply and told everyone around her that, “Family always comes first”. She was so proud to be 'Nomie' to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known for her feisty spirit, her sense of humor, and her love for singing and dancing. Phyllis' warmth, strength, and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her.

Funeral services and Interment will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 11:30 AM. There will be no other gatherings at this time.
