Richard J. Quinn
September 1, 1950 — March 9, 2026
Richard J. Quinn, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, at the age of 75. He was born on September 1, 1950, in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Richard spent many years working in automotive parts as a sales manager, and later retired from LKQ Corporation in Melbourne, Florida, in 2019. He had a lifelong love of automobiles and enjoyed old cars, restoration projects, shows, and attending local car shows. Those who knew him knew he always appreciated a good classic car and the history and stories that came with them.
More than anything, Richard loved his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sheila Quinn, and his son, Robert Quinn.
He leaves behind his daughter, Kim Eddleman (Scott) of West Melbourne, Florida, and his son, Richard Quinn (Krystine) of Palm Bay, Florida. Richard was a proud grandfather to Connor Eddleman, Kaylee Eddleman, Emilee Ayala, Lillian Ayala, Alyson Quinn, Camron Quinn, and Gavin Quinn. He is also survived by his loyal companion and best friend, Cooper the dog .
Richard will be remembered for his love of family, his appreciation for classic cars, and the many memories shared with those who knew and loved him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Health First Hospice House for the exceptional care, comfort, and kindness they provided during Richard’s final days.
A memorial gathering will be held on March 19, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Ammen Funeral Home in Melbourne, FL , where family and friends are invited to come together, share memories, and celebrate his life.
