In Loving Memory of Cassandra Moore

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Cassandra Moore, who peacefully departed this life on July 9, 2026, at the age of 80.

Cassandra was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Archer; her devoted husband of 54 years, Larry C. Moore Sr.; her daughter, Helen Moore Lockwood; and her granddaughter, Kristina Hicks Canada.

Born on January 20, 1946, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, Cassandra was known lovingly as Nannie to those who knew and loved her. She devoted her life to her family and found her greatest joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Ginger Moore Ferguson (Jerry); her sons, Larry C. Moore Jr. (Marie) and Ronnie L. Moore (Tonya); 12 cherished grandchildren; and 20 treasured great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

Nannie’s love, kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched and the family she loved so dearly.

May she rest in eternal peace.
