Domenic Salvatore Vellaccio, 86, passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2026, in Palm Bay, Florida.

He was born on April 8, 1940, to Josephine DeChello and Domenic Vellaccio and grew up with six sisters and one brother in New Haven, Connecticut.

Domenic was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Korea at the age of 17. He was a horse lover who owned and operated B+R Stables in Prospect, Connecticut, and later owned and operated Brandywine Stables in Melbourne, Florida. After selling the stables, he owned and operated Vellaccio Trucking in Palm Bay, Florida.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Davis; son, Todd Vellaccio (Kara); daughter, Lisa Twyman (Jack); stepson, John Davis (Candi); stepdaughter, Jennifer Davis (Tom); granddaughters, Brittany, Ashley, and Katie Davis; great-granddaughter, Hazel Iyla MacPhearson; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
