Jeffrey Leo Cunningham
April 14, 1949 — April 22, 2026
In loving memory of Jeffrey Leo Cunningham. Jeff passed away April 22, 2026, following a long battle with cancer. Jeff was predeceased by his parents Leo and Lucille Cunningham and his son Richard. He will be deeply missed by Susan, his wife of more than 46 years; his son, Jason; his sister Donna (Bill), and by the many friends who will remember him as a hard-working businessman and first-rate mechanic.
Jeff lived most of his life in the Acton and Littleton areas until he and Susan moved to Florida in 2022 later joined there by their son, Jason. Jeff was a combat veteran of the Vietnam war. He joined his father‘s company, Cunningham‘s Garage, when he returned from the war. His father proudly added “& Son” to the sign.
Jeff later started his own heavy equipment repair business, committed to assuring that the equipment he worked on was safe for the operators. He had a great appreciation for wildlife and our environment and often had a joke or quip for everyone. He and Susan enjoyed an annual vacation in Puerto Rico and basking together on Florida’s beautiful beaches.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at Princeton Station,147 Princeton St, North Chelmsford, MA on Saturday, July 11, from noon until 4 PM. with refreshments. Jeff was highly regarded by many friends and pals, and all are welcome to attend. Messages of condolence may be sent to his family at 1500 Shelter St. NW, Palm Bay, Florida 32907. Donations in his memory may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars at 406 W 34th St., Kansas City, MO 64111 or online at VFW.org. Please join us in saluting this wonderful man.
