In Loving Memory of Robert Steen
Robert Steen
November 18, 1949 – June 7, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Steen on June 7, 2026, at the age of 76.
Born in Scotland on November 18, 1949, Robert carried the strength, determination, and pride of his Scottish roots throughout his life. He was known as a hardworking man who dedicated himself to providing for his family and living with integrity. His work ethic, resilience, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Robert was a devoted father whose greatest joy was his daughter, Tracy Steen. The love he had for her was unwavering, and the bond they shared was one of the most treasured parts of his life.
A passionate supporter of the Glasgow Rangers, Robert could often be found cheering on his beloved team, sipping on a hot cup of tea. His love for football and his Scottish heritage remained close to his heart throughout the years.
Robert will be remembered for his warm spirit, dedication to family, and the countless memories he created with those he loved. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy will live through the lives he touched and the family he cherished.
Robert is the son of the late Jackie and Sissy Steen, brother of the late Betty Siecieska and the late Sadie Nicol. He is lovingly remembered and survived by his daughter, Tracy Steen; his sister, Irene Mills and her husband John, his brother, Jim Steen and his wife Fran; and his nieces, Jaime Knecht and Le’Tisha Craig, as well as her husband Terrence Craig. Also, his nephews Christion and Corey Bryant, and many other great-nieces and nephews.
Robert’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
