Stephen George Rattay

In Loving Memory Of

Most everyone knew him by the name of Steve.

Steve was born on October 16,1959 in Milford, Delaware to Charles Henry Rattay Sr. and Clotine Berry.

He passed away on March 30th 2025 at his home in Palm Bay, Florida peacefully just 5 1/2 months after he retired from his job as a crane operator for a local roofing company.

Steve grew up in Satellite Beach, Florida and graduated from Satellite High School in 1977. 

In 1980 he joined the Marines and did some traveling to Hawaii, Japan, Korea and was stationed at Camp Lejuene, North Carolina. 

In 1985 he started working at Relm Communications where he met his wife Lori. They enjoyed Scuba Diving , Camping , Hiking, Boating , Snow skiing , Riding their motorcycles, Four wheeling at holopaw, and traveling together to Hawaii, Mexico, Jamaica, and Costa Rica.

Steve is preceded in death by his father Charles Henry Rattay and son Bryan Andrew Rattay.

 He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years and 2 sons Ryan Rattay (Shasta) and Skyler Rattay. Grandchildren Aubree and Westley Rattay, His mother Clotine Rattay, brother  Charles Rattay, and sisters Karen Camp (David) Colette Storer (Philip) and Melanie Rattay.
