Robert David Malone Jr

Robert David Malone, Jr., 84, of St. Petersburg passed away April 8, 2026, at Mid-Pinellas Suncoast Hospice. Born and raised in St. Petersburg,he graduated from St. Petersburg High School, and  from SPJC withdegrees in Computer Programming and Marketing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R. David and Lillian Malone. David is survived by his spouse of 32 years, Pamela Malone, brother, Jim Malone, sister,  Patricia Woody, Sugar Mountain, NC, sons, R. David Malone, III, and Michael Scott Malone, and stepdaughters, Leslie Winterberg and Jennifer Carlson, 13 grandchildren: Blake, Christian, Desiree, Benjamin, Aaron, Hannah, Brenna, Jackson, Collin, Zachary, Corrine, Emily, Morgan, and 10 great grandchildren:  Norah, Chandler, Micah, Hugh, Beauman, Bennett, Luka, Lily, Lola, and Lucy.

David served in the Army for 2 years during the Vietnam War. He was a sales associate at Macy's for over 32 years. David enjoyed sports, having played city baseball and then coaching his son's little league baseball teams. He also loved fishing, and watching college and pro-football,as well as, being a loyal fan of the Buccaneers and the Rays. David lived a life of very strong faith and rarely missed an opportunity to share that faith.
