Ronald Lee Humphreys

Ronald “Ron” Lee Humphreys, age 83, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away on May 11, 2026. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Judson and Mable Humphreys; his beloved spouse, Mina Humphreys; and his brothers, Donnavan, Calvin, and Bob Humphreys.  He is survived by his son, Ben Humphreys; his stepdaughter, Kimberly Moniz; his granddaughter, Angela Davidson; and his cherished great-grandchildren.  

Ron’s Christian faith was an important part of his life and guided him throughout the years. He found great joy in the simple beauty of nature and loved taking long walks, spending time at the beach, and being outdoors. An avid gardener, Ron especially enjoyed growing vegetables, peppers, and watermelons, and took pride in composting and caring for his garden.  A skilled Master boat carpenter, Ron took great pride in his craftsmanship and the work of his hands. Following retirement, he worked at Publix, where he truly enjoyed interacting with customers and making connections with those he met each day .Ron attended Hoover High School in San Diego, California, and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a jet mechanic.  

Ron will be remembered for his quiet strength, love of family, appreciation for nature, strong work ethic, and the kindness he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  Ron will be laid to rest with his wife, Mina at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa, Fl.
