Susan Kay Bell-Yates

Susan Kay Bell-Yates, 81, of Seminole, Florida and formerly of Watseka, Illinois, passed away at her home surrounded by family on May 24, 2026. She was born September 19, 1944, in Watseka to John and Patricia Bell.

Susan was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and a friend to many. She shared many wonderful years with her husband, Wendell William Yates, who preceded her in death. Together they built a life centered around family, love, laughter, and caring for others.

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Benjamin and husband Scott, and Carla Gephart and husband Cliff; grandchildren Megan, Brooke, Kaylynn, and Bryce; and sister Mary Dickson and husband Jim.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Oakhill Cemetery in Watseka, Illinois.
