Ruggles, Allan W., 80, of Gulfport, died Monday, August 22, 2005 at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Ft. Edward, New York, he came here in 1991 from Glens Falls, New York. He was an Army Corporal, serving during WWII as Chaplain Assistant. He was a member of Maximo Presbyterian Church and was a Deacon for three years and very active with the church Men?s group. He was a New Car Manager for 39 years and from 1996 to March 2005 he was a Gulfport City employee at the Library. He is survived by a daughter, Jane Lawler, Gulfport, a son, Allan W. Ruggles, Essex Junction, VT, 2 brothers, Robert E., Glens Falls, NY and Donald, Rhinebeck, New York, 2 sisters, Millicent Pruyn, Garden City, NY and Judith Ritchie, Coronado, CA, and 1 granddaughter.
