Barbara L. Noyes Collister, 71, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at the Palms Of Pasadena Hospice Unit under the care of The Hospice Of The Florida Suncoast and family. She was a native St. Petersburg and was a 1953 graduate of St. Petersburg High School. She moved to Inverness, FL in 1999 where she attended the First Christian Church and returned in 2001. She was a member of Central Christian Church and was a preschool teacher at Central Christian School. She is survived by one son, William C. Collister, III of Alexandria, LA; three daughters, Carla L. McKinney of Johnson City, TN, Cristal A. Akin of Carrollton, GA, Carrie A. Collister of St. Petersburg; her mother, Louise D. Noyes of Hernando, FL; three brothers, L. Frank Noyes of Tallahassee, FL, Roger C. Noyes of Dacula, GA, James D. Noyes of Kingsland, GA; nine grandchildren and one great grandson. She was predeceased by her husband William C. Collister, Jr., and a sister Marianne Mies.
