Betty Jean Collins Barnard

Betty Jean Collins Barnard, 81, of Bartow, FL and formerly of Clearwater, FL, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lyons, GA and moved to Clearwater in 1972 from Port Wentworth, GA. She was a member of Sunset Point Baptist Church in Clearwater and was an avid gardener. She is survived by her son, Ronald L. (Gayle) Barnard of Harrisonville, MO; her daughter, Barbara J. (Carl) Colwell of Bartow; and 1 brother, Billy Collins of Fleming Island, FL. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Loran A. Barnard. She will be inurned with her husband at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
