Lenehan, Daniel F. ?Dan?, 49, of Treasure Island, died Saturday, August 9th, 2003 at Bayfront Medical Center after suffering a stroke. He was born in Malden, MA and came here in 1985 from Boston, MA. Locally, he was a Realtor at Century 21 on St. Pete Beach. Prior to that, he owned the Sunset Beach Café in Treasure Island for 13 years. He was a coordinator and founder of Loop for Lupus, and the former President of the Sunset Beach Civic Association. Currently, he is the Vice President of the Treasure Island Hotel/Motel Association and Vice President of the Treasure Island Business Association. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Florida Association of Realtors, and the Pinellas Association of Realtors. He is an Executive Board member of the Gulf Beaches Chamber of Commerce, and a member of Beach Clean-up. He was a volunteer for the Treasure Island Symphony on the Beach, the Treasure Island spaghetti dinner, the Treasure Island Mayor?s prayer breakfast, and he was a Meals On Wheels volunteer as a driver. He is survived by his wife, Melinda J. ?Mel? Lenehan; and 1 son, Ross Scott Lenehan both of Treasure Island; his parents, Jean and Daniel Lenehan of Redding, MA; and 1 brother, Dave Lenehan of Maine.
