Dolores C. "Dee" Rasmussen, 77, of South Pasadena, FL, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at Hospice House Woodside in Pinellas Park, FL. Dee was born in Omaha, NE and moved to FL in 1983 from Elgin, IL. She was the Co-Owner of Ameri-Print, Ink. in St. Petersburg and was a member of the Zonta Club in Elgin, IL and St. Petersburg. She was a member of the Cathedral Of St. Jude The Apostle where she was a Eucharistic minister and member of St. Vincent De Paul Society.
She is survived by 2 sons, Michael E. (Lynn) Rasmussen of St. Petersburg, Thomas E. (Connie) Rasmussen of Hilliard, OH; 3 daughters, Tricia M. (Ted) Strand of Clearwater, Deanne M. (Jonathan) Driver of RAF Alconbury, UK, Annette M. Roath of St. Petersburg; 1 brother, Daryl Greger of Omaha, NE; 4 sisters, Sr. Eileen Greger, Maureen Bourne, Marilyn Synowicki all of Omaha, Rosemary Feldhacker of Scottsdale, AZ; and 12 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Robert E. "Bob" and a sister, Lucille Clavin.
Visitation 5 to 7 PM Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012 at The Cathedral Of St. Jude The Apostle Our Lady's Chapel where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012.
Entombment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
The family requests memorials to the St. Vincent De Paul Society or Suncoast Hospice.
