Glatthorn, Eileen Regina Montgomery, 81, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, January 12th, 2003 at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and came to St. Petersburg from Wallingford, PA. in 1968. She graduated from Ridley Township High School in Pennsylvania, and worked at Baldwin?s in Philadelphia during World War II. She married and became a fulltime homemaker raising eight children. Among her many Christian contributions were volunteer missions to Haiti and long time membership at Central Bible Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Raymond Harold Glatthorn, in August 2000. Survivors include her eight children: Eileen ?Pat? Helfer of Sarasota, Raymond Glatthorn of Valparaiso, IN, Kathleen G. Hopson of Clearwater, Mary Nyce of Trooper, PA, James Glatthorn of St. Petersburg, David Glatthorn of North Palm Beach, FL, Paul Glatthorn of Clearwater, and Susan Glatthorn Johnson of Clearwater. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her sister Mary Brendan Panco of Milmont Park, PA; her brother, John Montgomery of Secane, PA and her twin sister, Margaret Smith of Collingdale, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to The Missionary Fund of Central Bible Church.
