Eleanor Dayton Scarlato, 88, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at Menorah Manor. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1959 from her native E. Hampton, L.I., NY and was a homemaker. She was a 1940 graduate of Keuka College in Utica, NY with a Bachelor Of Science degree and was on the swimming team. She was a member of the Garden Club and the Fifth Ave. Baptist Church where she was a pre-school Sunday School teacher for many years and also worked in the Clothes Closet. She is survived by one son, Philip P., Jr. of St. Petersburg; two daughters, Eleanor Scarlato of St. Petersburg, Phyllis Mroczka of Apalachin, NY; one brother, Robert Dayton of Sacramento, CA; and three grandchildren.
