Schindler, Erich Jordan, 25, of St. Petersburg passed away April 14, 2015. Born in Nashville, Tennessee and raised in St. Petersburg he attended Canterbury School of Florida and graduated from Admiral Farragut Academy. He attended Florida Gulf Coast University. he was preceded in death by his father, Kurt Henry Schindler ; and his grandfather's John Archie Haley and Rudolph Schindler. Erich is survived by his mother, Grace Haley Hamilton, step father, John M. Hamilton, Jr., siblings, Matthew John Schindler, Savannah Haley Hamilton and John M. Hamilton, III, grandmothers, Anna DaVault Haley and Lawanda Schindler. Erich was a Renaissance man, thoughtful, gentle, kindhearted. A voracious reader and brilliant writer. A romantic. He was an advocate for the down trodden, those who had been beaten up by this world. He was an encourager. A loyal friend. Erich was the strong yet fragile vine that all his family adored. Encourager and endearing brother to Matthew, adoring big brother and best friend to his precious sister, Savannah. No words can express the inexplicable bond between mother and son. An angel. Erich's memorial service will be Sunday, April19, 2015 2 pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. ML King Street North.
