Evard H. Norris

Evard H. Norris, 84, of Safety Harbor, Florida, went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 9, 2009. He was a native of Newport Center, Vermont and was an accountant/sales representative most of his working life. Evard served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a flight instructor in WW II and attended Bayside Community Church Of God. He enjoyed using his people skills at Walmart in his retirement years in Murphy, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ara Belle; 3 daughters, Cynthia Norris of Piscataway, New Jersey, Carol (Gerard) Robinson of Clearwater, Florida, Linda Butler of DeKalb, Illinois; 1 son, Michael (Sharon) Landis of Louisville, Tennessee; 4 sisters, Winnie Bean of Burlington, Vermont, Erma Copple of North Fort Myers, Florida, Joyce Reagan of Moorestown, Vermont, Lois Sorgensen of North Fort Myers; 2 brothers, Dean Norris and Donald Norris both of North Fort Myers; 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. A Celebration Of Life service will be 2 PM Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Bayside Community Church Of God 3380 SR 580 Safety Harbor, Florida 34695. Interment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
