August 8, 1942 — June 21, 2006
Loumpos, George Z. ?Zorba?, 63, of Seminole, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at home. Born in Parga, Greece, he came here in 1992 from St. Louis, Missouri. He was a retired chef and world traveler and a proud citizen of the United States since 1977. He loved to sing, dance and fish. He loved soccer and coached a youth soccer team for the Clearwater Family YMCA. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda L., a son, Dimitrios S. Loumpos, Seminole, three daughters, Sonia S. Loumpos and Stefania D. Loumpos, both of Seminole; and Sophia M. Loumpos, California, and two sisters, Dina Kourousis, Athens, Greece and Lula Loumpos, Parga, Greece.
