Loeber, Gertrude M. ?Trudy?, 84, of St. Petersburg, died November 8, 2003 at Carrington Place Convalescent Center. Born in Albany, New York, she came here in 1956 from Schenectady, New York. She was a homemaker, worked in retail sales for a number of years. She attended Suncoast Cathedral Assembly of God and during her stay at Carrington Place she enjoyed the ministry of Liberty Baptist Church. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed traveling by air and car and she especially loved her cats. She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Sorensen of St. Petersburg; a son, Robert Loeber of Plant City; a sister, Bertha Westfall of Schenectady, New York; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Liberty Baptist Church, 9401 4th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33702.
