Gregory Szczerbaty
February 15, 1917 — March 12, 2000
Szczerbaty, Gregory, 83, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday March 12, 2000 at home. Born in Lodowice, Ukraine, he came here in 1979 from Parma Heights, Ohio. He worked for the Cuyahoga Valley Railroad in Cleveland, Ohio for twenty-eight years. He was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Olga; one daughter, Marie Herron, North Olmstead, OH; three sons: Steve Serbaty, Bradenton, FL; Michael, St. Petersburg; and William, Treasure Island; one grandson, David Herron, San Francisco, CA; three granddaughters: Jennifer Serbaty, Bradenton, FL and Kathryn and Laraine Szczerbaty, both of St. Petersburg. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
