Harold Ritchie "Loco" Hackett, 57, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at the V.A. Medical Center at Bay Pines, FL. He was born in Washington D.C. and moved to St. Petersburg in 1997 from Phoenix, AZ. He was a motorcycle mechanic and an Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War where he received a Purple Heart. He was Protestant. He is survived by one son, Thomas Hackett of Tenino, WA; one daughter, Megan Hackett of San Clemente, CA; his mother, Elizabeth Hackett of Takoma Park, MD and one sister, Saundra L. Smith of Pinehurst, NC.
