Chambers, Homer B. "Potsie", 86, of Largo, died Sunday August 10, 2003 at Morton Plant Hospital. Born in Ashland, Kentucky, he came here two months ago from Waverly, Ohio. He was a retired manager with Goodyear Atomic Energy Corp. in Piketon, Ohio after thirty-three years of service. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lila F.; two sons, Robert F. Chambers of Seminole and Larry L. Chambers of Dayton, Ohio; a brother, Charles Chambers of Patriot, Ohio; two sisters, Betty Jo Taylor of Columbus, Ohio and Cynthia Ann Vickery of Chipley, Florida and two grandsons, Sean Chambers of Dade City and Matthew Chambers of Clearwater. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Shriners Hospitats for Crippled Children, 12502 North Pine Drive, Tampa, FL 33612-9499. Services will be held in Ohio. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Largo Chapel.
