White, Jack J., 82, of St. Petersburg, Florida died Monday, March 06, 2006. Mr. White was born in Gainesville, Texas, and relocated in 1981 to St. Petersburg, FL. He was an Army veteran of WWII serving with the 180th Infantry, 45th Division in North Africa, Salerno, Casino and Anzio, Italy and the liberation of Rome. He was a retired supervisor/consultant from American Airlines after 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Deloris M.; two daughters, Judith A. Maynard I. Ungerman, Tulsa, OK and Lynda C. Gary A. McGowan, St. Petersburg, FL; son, Mark E. Peterson, St. Petersburg, FL. Mr. White was predeceased by his son Steven L. White. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gregory S. Annabelle W. Falconetti, Tulsa, OK, Amanda M. and Chelsey M., both of St. Petersburg, FL and a great-grandson, Ethan G. Falconetti, Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Bobbie D. Munday, Wagoner, OK and Lillian M. Cormier, Houston, TX; two brothers, George C. Monroe, Hitchcock, TX and T.J. Monroe, San Antonio, TX. He was also predeceased by his brother, Raymond White and Mary Ellen Schenkosky. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the 45th Division Museum, 2145 N.E. 36th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73111.
