Joan Adams

It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Adams announces her passing, on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at the age of 83 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Myron and Ruth Spencer; her siblings Myron "Lee" Spencer and Donald Spencer, her husband Frank J. Adams and her oldest daughter Candy L. Grund. She is survived by her daughters Dorene and Bonnie Adams, her grandson Joshua Grund, her niece Kimberly Davis and many other extended family members.

Joan was mainly a stay-at-home Mom though she had multiple part-time jobs throughout her life. She attended Northeast High School. For many years, her favorite past time was playing bingo at local venues, along with yearly visits to Walt Disney World. She was also known for her love of anything to do with Elvis Presley.

A celebration of life service will be held on June 27th from 1 PM – 4 PM at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home.
