Joan Patricia Murray

Her legacy leaves her Children: a daughter Denise M. Mercuri/51 St. Pete, sons Dane R. Mercuri/47 St. Pete, Kevin L. Mercuri/45 Oviedo, FL and late Dr. S. Chris Mercuri. 9 Living Grandchildren, 1 deceased Grandchild and 6 Great Grandchildren. Her surving siblings leave 1 sister: Alberta Sanford, ME and 4 brothers; Pat Kent, WA, Al Smithfield, WV, Jerry Sanford, ME, and Dave Dover, NH and numerous nieces and nephews all throughout the US. Joan transplanted from Sanford, ME to St. Petersburg in 1984 and worked for one employer: ?Kissin? Cuzzins? her entire remaining stay on this earth until Jan 2006, when she started to get sick. Our mother was a hardworking, independent, strong woman who ?til the end fought the good fight. She was stubborn, opinionated, loving and always willing to make another cake or batch of homemade ravioli?s. We love you and will miss you very much, but know that you are with the Lord and there is no more pain and plenty of Prime rib for you now.
