John Dougald Robinson lll

John Dougald Robinson III was born on March 9, 1950, in St. Petersburg, Florida, and passed away on June 5, 2025, in St. Petersburg. He worked as a surveyor and held an Associate of Arts college degree.

John was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. His passion for the outdoors earned him several awards. He was respectful of the environment and all creatures, big and small. John was also a stargazer who enjoyed focusing on planets, stars, and the moon, often pondering the mysteries of the universe.

He is survived by his sisters Joyce, Jo-Ellen, June, and Janet; 10 nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews. John's passing was preceded by his mother, Barbara H. Robinson; his father, John D. Robinson Jr.; and his sister, Jacqueline Cedars Marrs.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park via Florida State Parks Foundation Donations.

John will be greatly missed and leaves behind happy memories. Love is the greatest gift of all.
