Chambers, Joseph H. ?Joe?, 65, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday January 6, 2005 at home. Born in Matewan, West Virginia, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1961 from Huntington, West Virginia. He was the founder of the Chambers Law Group, was a member of the West Virginia Bar and The Florida Bar. He was a member of St. Peter?s Episcopal Cathedral, where he served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister. He was a volunteer with Hospice, a member of the Board of the Petersborough Apartments, the City of St. Petersburg Nuisance Abatement Board, and a former board member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Resurrection House and Canterbury Schools. Survivors include his fiancé, Amy Conner and her daughter, Erin Biggs, of St. Petersburg; 3 sons, Joseph W. Chambers and wife Stephanie of St. Petersburg, Jeffrey K. Chambers and wife Kristin of Treasure Island and Lance Chambers and wife Kathy of St. Petersburg; a daughter, Danelle Chambers, M.D. and husband Kevin Nowicki, M.D. of Windermere, Florida; 8 grandchildren, Courtland Chambers, Cameron Chambers, and Conner Chambers of St. Petersburg, Austin Chambers, Channing Chambers and Pierce Chambers of Treasure Island, and Chase Nowicki and Riley Nowicki of Windermere; a brother, Daniel W. Chambers, Jr. of New Port Richey; and a sister, Anne Potter of Westport, Connecticut. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Chambers. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers- N.E.
