Joseph William Savoy, 96, of Kenneth City, Florida, died Friday, July 18, 2014. Mr. Savoy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to the St. Petersburg area from Las Vegas, Nevada where he retired as a Master Sergeant from the US Air Force after 21 years serving during WW II and the Korean War.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 5737 in Pinellas Park, Florida and the American Legion Post #273 in Madeira Beach, Florida.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Ina G. Savoy.
Interment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
