Joseph E. Ward

Ward, Joseph E., 89, of St. Petersburg, died Friday November 23, 2001 at The Springs at The Fountains of Boca Ciega. Born in Richmond, Missouri, he came here in 1951 from Jefferson City, Missouri. He was a U.S. Army Aircorp Veteran of WWII and was a clothing salesman. He was a member of the Pinellas County Democratic Committee during President Carter?s administration and was the youngest man to ever serve as a reader in the House of Representatives in the State of Missouri. He was a member of St. John?s Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Terry Ward of St. Petersburg, a granddaughter, Jessica F. Ward of Los Angeles, California and a grandson, Nicholas J.
