63, of Tierra Verde, died September 3, 2011 peacefully at home. Born in Raleigh, NC, she came here in 2000 from Geneva, IL. She graduated Indiana University in 1968, a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, and graduated Elmhurst College in 1978. She served patients in Greater Chicago, Washington DC, and Los Angeles. Jane moved to Tierra Verde with her husband where she founded the Perinatal Loss Doula Program with Suncoast Hospice Stepping Stones, which has served over 600 families. She spoke nationwide for women's health as an RN, as a Doula, and finally the Perinatal Loss Doula Progran. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Annie Horton and father-in-law, Jack Parker Sr. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jack Parker Jr.; son, Matthew Browning; daughter, Sarah Redding; step children, Christine Callahan and David Parker; grandchildren, Cameron Piper, Olivia Browning, Jack and Charlie Callahan, Sophia and Bryce Parker; brother, Philip Horton and mother-in-law, Maggie Parker. A service will be held at 1pm on September 10 at Anderson-McQueen, 2201 Dr MLK St. N.
