Mary U. Ather

Mary U. Ather, 81, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1945 from her native Brooklyn, New York and was a 1951 graduate of St. Petersburg High School. She was the principal's secretary at Dixie Hollins High School for many years and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul W. Ather; 1 son, Mark J. (Melody) Ather; 3 daughters, Paula M. (Kelvin) Roberts, Carol A. Alberts all of St. Petersburg, Suzanne H. Ather of Sebring; 4 sisters, Jean Takach, Carol Hay, Victoria Stickney all of St. Petersburg, Frances Warwick of Perkasie, PA; and 8 grandchildren, Michael, Paul, Abigail, Olivia, Amelia, Dillon, Bryan, and Kristy. Visitation 10:00 AM to service time at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 11, 2014 at E.
