Michael Dennis Pitchford

Pitchford, Michael Dennis, 56, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at home. A native of Shelby, North Carolina, he came here in 1971. He was a property insurance claims manager; licensed property and casualty insurance adjuster, and a certified NFIP adjuster for several local insurance agencies. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western Carolina University. In addition, he was an athletic trainer for the high school football team at Shorecrest Preparatory School, St. Petersburg, from 1974-1976. He was Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Mary Pat Pitchford; his stepmother, Joan Ellis, Shelby, North Carolina; and other relatives in Shelby. Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremation Centers, N.E. St. Petersburg.
