Robert J. Rheintgen
December 21, 1942 — July 1, 2025
Robert J Rheintgen passed away peacefully at his home in Seminole on July 1st, 2025 at age 83. He was born in Wheaton, Illinois on December 21, 1942 to John Rheintgen and Emily.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Virginia Rheintgen; his sons James Rheintgen and Charles Rheintgen (Jeanine), his daughter Mia Richey; son in law Steven Breen; step children Zachary Berg, and Keli Berg; his loving grandchildren Jamisen, Lauren, Nick, Rachel, Dylan, Sara, Charlie, Kate, Samantha Breen, and Emma Breen, and Bruce Berg. He is predeceased by his daughter Lisa Breen, and brother, Jack Rheintgen.
Bob was a pilot, and Captain, for international and commercial airlines with TWA and American Airlines. He was huge fan of planes no matter if he was flying or not. He enjoyed travelling and going on vacations around the world with his family, friends, and his wife. He had a dry sense of humor and could light up a room with his laughter.
Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend and uncle. He will be deeply missed and is cherished by many. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A Celebration Of Life will held on August 11th, 2025 at 2:00pm at Seminole Isles Clubhouse. The address is as follows: 7253 Key Haven Road in Seminole, Florida 33777.
