Russell David Hall II, 71 of St. Petersburg, Florida. Also Known as Russ, Rusty, and Hun.
Russ passed away surrounded by his wife and family on Monday May 4, 2026, 4pm at St. Anthony’s Hospital.
Son of Russell David Hall I and Margeret Juanita Owenby, Russ had two siblings Juanita Hall and Carolyn Hall Wagner. Russ was born on October 16, 1954 in Bradenton, Florida and moved to St Petersburg where he graduated from Northeast High School.
He was married to the love of his life and best friend for life Judith Kimura Putnam on February 14, 1986 at Central Christian Church in St. Petersburg Florida.
He loved Martial Arts in his late teens and continued for many years. As a young man of 18 he started working for Grant Ford dealership in the Parts Department, Fleet sales and moving on to management in his later years at a Crystal River Ford Dealer. He could find a part and knew the part number almost before you thought of the part you actually needed.
He spent a lot of time learning about guns, going to Huntcamp with friends and family and becoming an expert marksmen. There was not much he couldn’t tell you about any gun. He was an extremely proud Endowment Member of the NRA.
He is survived by his wife Judith Kimura Hall, Daughter Theresa L. Putnam of St. Petersburg Florida, his Grandchildren Kimberley Jade Weaver and Patrick James McNamara Jr., Great Grandchildren Enzo and Maren, His sister Carolyn Wagner, Nephew Shad Hall and Niece Rachel Regis.
He spent his last eight and half years with his extended family and friends at Patrick Manor Assisted Living Facility due to complications from an accident in December of 2017. A special Thank you to the staff who cared for him daily with great love and compassion. The Staff and Residents already miss him dearly.
