Sanford 'Sandy,' Day, 60, of Pinellas Park, FL, died Wednesday, October 2, 2002 in the emergency room at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute in St. Petersburg, FL. He was born in Bainbridge, GA and moved to the St. Petersburg area in 1959 from Plant City, FL. He was an upholsterer for Goodwill Industries and was a member of The Society For The Preservation Of Early Country & Western Music, Inc. He enjoyed Bowling and was a member of National Amateur Bowlers, Inc. and the American Bowling Congress. He was a member of Pasadena Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dorothy L. 'Dottie,' two brothers, Larry Day of Cross City, FL, Tommy Day of Bainbridge, GA, and two sisters, Eva Hutto of Camilla, GA, and Ruth Hutto of Lakeland, FL.
