William R. Thomas, 67, frequent visitor to St. Petersburg from Paducah, KY, died Saturday, April 19, 2003 at Palms Of Pasadena Hospital. He was born in St. Louis, MO and was the owner and sales broker of a container company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paducah and was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gwen, two sons, Rev. Stephen T. Thomas of West Palm Beach, David T. Thomas of St. Louis, two daughters, Brenda L. McElroy of Paducah, Linda L. Burrows of St. Petersburg, two sisters, Dorlas Curtis of Jefferson City, MO, Ruth Wehmeier of St. James, MO, and fourteen grandchildren.
