Brian Howdahl
September 25, 1973 — March 23, 2026
Brian Howdahl, 53, passed away on March 23, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona. He was born on September 25, 1973, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Brian was preceded in death by mother, Sandra R. Howdahl.
He is survived by father, George Howdahl, brother, Scott Howdahl, sister-in-law, Mishael Howdahl; his nephews, Nicholas and Dominic Howdahl; and extended family at Salty Dawg II in Tucson, Arizona.
Brian’s favorite time of year was spring. Baseball wasn’t just a game to him, it was a lifelong passion that began in childhood. He proudly played in the Little League World Series in 1986 and never missed an opportunity to share those memories. Later in life, he developed a love for golf and enjoyed spending his free time on the course.
For over 28 years, Brian dedicated himself to Salty Dawg II. There was nothing he couldn’t do, from front of house to back, he could run circles around anyone. Brian loved everyone who walked through the door. He had a heart of gold, even if he liked to play the role of the “Angry Chef.”
Though we have lost Brian, and our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace.
Brian, we hope you’ve got the best seat in Dodger Stadium, enjoy every inning.
We love you, Bri-Bri. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
