Linda L Howarth

Linda Howarth entered into rest on Wednesday September 4, 2024 at her place of residence the Brighton Care Center, Brighton Colorado at age 89. We are happy to share some of the memories of her long life. Linda was born November 19,1934 in Macomb, Illinois to Robert Lloyd Easley her father and Hazel Springer Easley her mother. She was preceded in death by her sisters Donna Sue Hopusch and Mary Jodie Easley.  They grew up together on a rural farm with no indoor plumbing & many stories of having chores helping with the animals on the farm. The Easley family moved to Boulder, Colorado where after graduating from Boulder High School she began a family with Ronald Krause and had 3 children Rhonda Russell, Debra Madrid and Kenneth Krause. Ron & Linda divorced, after which Linda became a Montgomery Wards sales associate selling sewing machines as a hard working single Mom long before the term became common. She then met & married the love of her life Herb Howarth, living happily until Herbs passing. Sewing, crafts, painting & cooking became a large part of her life for many years. Linda loved to boast about her 13 grandchildren. 

Linda will be laid to rest next to Herb at Fort Logan Cemetery on Friday October 4, 2024 at 1:00PM.
