Maria Magdalena Romero

Maria Magdalena Romero 06/27/1937 ~ 02/17/2026   Maria Magdalena Romero, 88, of Westminster, Colorado, passed away on February 17, 2026. Maria, lovingly known as Maggie, was born on June 27, 1937, in New Mexico to Abenicio Martinez and Eloisa Montoya.  She was a proud cosmetologist and later worked for over 20 years in the casino industry. Maggie was known for her strength, honesty, and unfiltered personality. She spoke her mind and lived life on her own terms. Maria is survived by her children: Katherine ("Kathy") Befort (Bruce), Sandra ("Sandy") Romero, Randal ("Randy") Romero, Sylvia ("Bubbles") Jones, and Thomas ("Tom") Sheri Romero (Sheri); as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Silverio Romero. A memorial service will be held on April 29th at 1:30 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Colorado. Celebration of Life following ceremony, location TBD.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
