Richard D Sorensen

Richard (Dick) Sorensen entered into rest on April 19, 2025 in the presence of his wife, Kathy. He will be dearly missed and it is with a broken heart we share memories of his life.

Born in September 1952 in Denver, Colorado to Richard Sorensen, Sr. and Donna Sorensen. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cruises and especially watching his sons play football.

Richard met his wife Kathy in 1982 and they were married in April 1984.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sr. and Donna Sorensen, his sister Stacey Taylor, his nephews Tyler Hopson and Bradley Kinzer.

He is survived by his spouse, Kathy Sorensen, two sons Daniel (Katie) Sorensen and John (Tia) Sorensen, two grandchildren Adelyn and Luke Sorensen, and his siblings Donald Sorensen and Sandy Hopson.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, May 16 at 12:00 Noon at the Table Mountain Event Venue at 16035 Table Mountain Parkway, Golden, CO
