Dawn Wanser

Dawn Renee Wanser, 51, of Bailey, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025 at Swedish Medical Hospital in Englewood, Colorado. Dawn was born on June 24, 1973 in Denver, Colorado to Thomas M, Clark and Linda Kay Galbraith (Clark). Dawn is survived by her husband, Kevin Lee Wanser, her daughter, Coleene Marie Bernd, her grandson, Zakery Lee Bernd Jr, her grand daughter, Alyviah August Bernd, her father and mother, and Ann Catherine DeLaney, Dawn’s sister. Dawn was preceded in death by her two sons, Cody Lee Wanser and Jacob August Wanser. Dawn was a devoted and loving mother of her two disabled sons which required her to obtain certified nursing assistant credentials (CNA) after which she formed and organized the A Caretakers Wish Foundation to serve the needs of caretakers like herself. Dawn also worked as an Administrative Assistant for Rockland Christian Church; held a position as a Mortgage Loan Processor requiring Colorado state financial certification; purchased and helped renovate the Chapel at Pine Grove in Pine Colorado where she was acting pastor and ordained chaplain, and served as an Insurance 

Associate with State Farm Insurance. Services for Dawn will be held at her Chapel at Pine Grove, 16795 Co Rd 126, Pine, CO, on Monday, March 24th at 1pm—reception to follow. The interment will be at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in Clearwater, Nebraska with her sons.
