Donald George Roberts

Donald George Roberts (65) of Denver, Colorado, peacefully passed away of natural causes on January 25, 2021. Born in Pennsylvania on June 10, 1955 to George and Helen P. Roberts (Snyder).
Don grew up in Englewood, Colorado and entered active duty in the US Navy in June 1972 until September 1974. He obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in Business from Metro State University and had a diverse career. He was an over-the-road trucker, moving van driver, and delivered custom doors to foothill mansions. He also worked the graveyard shift for the Burlington Northern Railroad, finishing his career as a house painter/decorator. He was an accomplished musician and loved all types of music, particularly the Grateful Dead.
He is survived by sons Joshua and Donovan. He also leaves behind his nephews Steven †œStevie†� and Gary. Near the end of his life, he was befriended by Mr. Ed Thacker and Chaplain Jay Earl Krebs. Don is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Eugene (Nancy). A private service with full military honors will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado at a future date.
