Kathleen "Kathy" Patterson

en (Kathy) Patterson passed away peacefully May 18th in hospice at Rose Medical Center in Denver Colorado, surrounded by friends and loved ones. 

Kathleen (Kathy) Patterson (Finan) was born in Port Austin Michigan March 28th, 1949, as the second child to her beloved parents Robert (Bob) & Matilda (Tida) Finan. She had a childhood full of love and laughter with her parents, siblings (Tim, Jeanne, Bobby, Margaret and Pat) grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.She graduated a proud Port Austin High Pirate in 1967 where she went on to Grand Valley State.She loved her home town of Port Austin, Michigan all of her days and was a Winter Carnival Queen Candidate in 1970.She became a mother to her beloved son Vinny in 1974 and beloved daughter Shannon in 1978.She married the love of her life Charles (Chuck) Patterson and partner in everything in 2001.She began at Rose Medical Center Scheduling in 1987 and continued in her position there through all the changes for 35 years. 

There she made a family of beautiful friends whom she continued to love until the end.

Kathy loved God, her husband Chuck, children, siblings, family, friends, and all animals with all she had. 

Her absolute favorite role was Grandma to Abby and in this she shone the brightest. 

She loved traveling, adventure, music, dancing, her garden, walking, her church and celebrating everything and everyone with pure joy and love.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and many other beloved family members.She survived by her soulmate Charles Patterson, children Vinny (Tseemee) Carmody, Shannon (Brian) Hagedorn 

Her beloved siblings Tim (Amelia) Finan, Jeanne (Dennis) Lupcke, Bobby Finan, Margaret (Dave) Guitar, Pat (Pam) Finan and nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces. 

Stepdaughters Shantae, Desiree & Amy Patterson.

Grandchildren Dametrius, Abby and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services & viewing will be Amazing Grace Church May 28th.

11am viewing & 12pm service and luncheon to follow.
