Lucille Beckett

Lucille Beckett, beloved wife of Richard, mother and Grammie, was called home on the morning of April 17th, 2026, at the age of 81. Born in Denver, CO on January 17th, 1945, Lucy spent her life dedicated to her faith, family, and friends. She has left a legacy of compassion, generosity and kindness that will be cherished by all who knew her. Lucy was always there for her sons, Patrick and Michael, while they were growing up. As a stay-at-home mom, she was their security, their nurse, their caregiver, the one they could turn to for anything. Her love for them never wavered, and as her family grew, she extended that same love to her daughters-in-law. Lucy had a special way of making each person feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. Her grandchildren were truly the light of her life; she delighted in every moment with them, pouring into them with kindness and care. Family wasn’t just important to her, it was everything.

Those who knew Lucy will remember her as the quiet introvert, who avoided the spotlight, but loved being part of group settings with family and friends. She loved sitting and listening to us all go on for hours. Every Christmas, she planned extended family gatherings to keep ties between relationships that may not exist today without her. She always made time to volunteer at church taking care of kids and helping where she could. You never had to guess where her heart was, at home or with church, family and friends.
