Maria Bustos

Maria Antonia Bustos passed away peacefully into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday June 30, 2022. She was surrounded by her loving family. Maria, also affectionately known as Tonita, was born April 15, 1929, in Mora, New Mexico. She attended St. Gertrude Catholic school and after graduation married Melaquias William †œWillie†� Bustos. They lived in Denver, Colorado from 1954-1959 and finally settled in Commerce City, Colorado in 1960. They raised seven loving children. Maria worked as a Mental Health Technician with the Adams County Mental Health Center in Commerce City and retired in the mid-1990s. She was preceded in death by; her father Facundo Valdez, mother Elena Mares, all seven of her brothers and sisters, husband Melaquias William Bustos, son William M. Bustos Jr., and grandson Jacob Bustos. She is survived by her six loving children , daughters in law and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. May the Perpetual Light shine upon her and grant her eternal peace. Amen
