Abigail Rose Homstad

d. September 10, 2011

Abigail Rose Homstad, infant daughter of Michael and Stacey Homstad of Cloquet, became one of God's littlest angels on Saturday, September 10, 2011. She was born on August 31, 2011 in Duluth. Though her life here on earth was brief, our sweet little angel touched so many lives during her short time with us and reminded us that God's purpose for all his children is to love one another. Abigail is survived by her parents, Michael and Stacey Homstad; maternal grandparents, Dave Paulson of Cloquet and Roxanne Paulson (Duane Berthiaume) of Cloquet; paternal grandparents, Timothy (Victoria) Homstad of Kettle River; maternal great grandparents, Linda Richardson (Al Hillstrom) of Cloquet, Marvin (Verna) Richardson of Cloquet and Eldred "Red" (Eileen) Paulson of Milaca; paternal great grandmother, Goldie Homstad of Kettle River; maternal great great grandmother, Hazel Richardson of Cloquet; aunts and uncles, Bryan (Bailey) Homstad, Troy (Dawn) Homstad, Sarah (John) Class, Kristi (Chris) Lukes and Adam Paulson; her 12 cousins, extended family members, and her special "BFF", nurse Laine Hoffman. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of St. Mary's NICU for the loving care given to Abilgail, her family, and for going above and beyond. Visitation will be from 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Visitation will continue from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service, Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Westside Church, Kettle River.
